Mother Nature May I Ride?
Mother Nature, May I PLEASE ride? Looks like the answer is definitely YES for the weekend. Let's see if her answer holds for Monday, May 8. I did the Viaduct reconnoissance mission yesterday and discovered road construction scheduled on Military Rd/DM. The sign promises construction from 7:30-3:30, so we should be okay?
There are 3 routes: Double Fisted 35 mile Viaduct route (5:30 PROMPT departure), Short Pour 30 mile cut off from Viaduct to Duroven, or 20 mile Shot out to Dane and back (6pm departures).Garmin link: Viaduct GPS Remember that the GPS goes out Pheasant Branch, but we will be going out High St.IMPORTANT REMINDER: please submit your outrageous Drafter photos for the rolling competition, which will end when the snow flies. Coach Arms and Cookie Monster Wille have braved submission, and we now we have a third entrant (well, technically there are two Drafters in the photo, but only one with Drafter swag). Billy Boy McC allegedly was present at a Manchester United game, and "wishes" he had submitted a photo of himself for the competition. Wishing and doing are not the same, Counselor, and just a reminder that you have to be sporting Drafter gear.... not just be on a cool junket in Europe during a Monday night Draft. We are all clear on the fine print of the competition rules and regulations?
